INGREDIENTS
2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons sesame oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons fresh ginger root, minced
1 tablespoon onion, minced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Steam green beans until bright green and barely tender. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
Heat sesame oil in a wok. Add garlic, ginger and onion and cook, stirring constantly, until onions have softened. Toss in beans and continue to stir until beans are coated with oil mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
