Breathing exercises help oxygenate your body and assist in detoxification. Sometimes I think I crave hot yoga classes because it forces me to sit still, sit in one place, and do some deep breathing. I come home and take a cold shower and I feel like a human breath mint, lol!

Choose your therapist wisely, and also, make sure you are clear about the level of touch you would like.

For some of you, a light-touch massage is ideal, while others prefer a deep-tissue massage. Some people (including myself) are working with old injuries, for example, for me, my shoulder is a bit loose on the right. I don’t like it when they maneuver it! Anyway, my point is good therapist will communicate with you and read body language so don’t just go anywhere or you could get hurt.
