Ingredients
1 package frozen green peas, about 10 – 12 oz
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter
OPtional: 1/2 cup smoked ham (chunks) or chopped bacon
Salt & Pepper
Directions
Add frozen peas to a pot of boiling water, and cook for 3 minutes, or until the peas are tender. Drain. Put into a little food processor with cream and butter. Grind/process the mixture gently just until blended. This will take a few seconds because you still want some small pieces of the peas, you don’t want to whip this. Add salt/pepper and chunks of smoked ham or bacon.
