Announcement: Sales tax in 2026

We’ve always collected sales tax in many states. As we grow, we will likely meet the thresholds to collect sales tax in a few remaining states at some point in 2026.

Here’s how it works. Each state sets its own rules. Once an online business passes that state’s sales threshold, or stores inventory there, the business is required by law to collect sales tax from customers in that state. That’s why many of you have paid sales tax with us for years while some others will see this for the first time. This isn’t a “decision” on our part; it’s the law.
