INGREDIENTS:
2 cups almond flour
¼ cup Dutch-process unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup organic sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup walnuts, chopped
Butter for greasing pan
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter bottom and sides of 9-inch metal pan thoroughly.
In large bowl, whisk together almond flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir wet ingredients into dry mixture until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour into pan. Bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick in the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool before removing from pan.
