INGREDIENTS
1 bunch carrots, peeled and sliced
Sea salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 fresh orange, juiced and zested
2 tablespoons honey
salt and pepper
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon turmeric, freshly grated
DIRECTIONS
Fill a pan halfway with water and simmer the carrots for about 5 minutes (just to soften them). Drain, then return the pan to heat and melt the butter with the orange zest, honey, ginger, turmeric. Saute for a minute then add the carrots and let it all saute together until the glaze thickens slightly. Add salt and pepper if desired.
