Ingredients
1 ripe banana peel, no fruit needed (you can if you want)
2 cups pure water
Optional: Cinnamon powder or stick
Directions:
Wash your banana, an cut both of the ends off. Remove the banana peel (it might have brown spots on it) and place in water and gently simmer for about 5 minutes with some cinnamon if desired. The banana peel contains a lot of potassium and magnesium which trigger GABA receptors in your brain, so you can have some banana tea at bedtime if desired. As an atlernative, you don’t even need to make this hot. Some people just put the cleaned peels in a Mason Jar and let it infuse into the water for a few hours. Either way, you can strain this and now you have Banana Peel “tea.” Cheers!
