Ingredients
1.5 pounds ground turkey, meat or lamb
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/2 onion, chopped
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
1 egg
½ cup oats (uncooked)
3 TBSP fresh parsley, minced
2 TBSP fresh sage, diced
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tea fennel seed, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and combine thoroughly. Mold into a loaf shape and place on a cookie sheet that has been lined with Parchment Paper or sprayed with cooking oil. Bake for 1 hour or until fully cooked through.
Serves 4 people, and each serving is approximately 200 calories.
